Your guide to TubeSaku MCP.

Find emerging Japanese VTubers, recorded gaming activity, upcoming streams, and planning data through a compatible AI client. Custom MCP connections work independently of each provider’s catalog listings.

Connect in four steps

  1. Open your client’s remote MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Enter https://tubesaku.com/mcp as the server URL.
  3. Select Streamable HTTP with no authentication. No TubeSaku API key or login is required.
  4. Check that ten tools are listed, then try a prompt below.

Your client may require a paid plan or administrator permission. There is no need to send your conversation text to TubeSaku.

Try asking

  • Find three potential debut streams starting after 9 p.m. tonight in Japan.
  • Find three Minecraft streams that were live at the latest observation, and include the observation times.
  • Find five VTubers who debuted in 2024 and have recorded Minecraft activity.
  • Compare game demand and supply over the latest four weeks for gaming channels with 10,000 subscribers or fewer.

What the tools return

  • search_live_streams: upcoming streams from saved schedules between today and 14 days ahead in JST. Each search covers up to seven days and ten results.
  • search_current_live_streams: up to ten streams observed live within the past two hours.
  • search_vtubers: search debut year or dates, recorded games, names, and stored descriptions. Up to ten results; descriptions are limited to their first 400 characters.
  • get_game_trends: top-ten rankings over up to four weeks, with up to ten rows prioritizing the latest week. Supports partial Japanese and English game names, normalizing character width, case, whitespace, punctuation, and kana. English words of four or more letters also support a single inserted, deleted, or substituted letter (for example, Mecha/Meccha). Different numbers are not corrected. Missing-value reasons are grouped in quality.missing_fields, with affected rows in series_indexes. Check latest_available_period for the latest stored week.
  • search_cover_songs: up to five candidates. Results do not establish permission to use a song.
  • Documents: get_tubesaku_index, read_tubesaku_markdown, and search_tubesaku_context.
  • Availability and quality: get_tubesaku_service_info and get_tubesaku_data_catalog.

Only current regular and debut announcements are available. Announcements become ineligible after a grace period following their scheduled start. Historical debut announcements and completed-stream histories are unavailable.

No recorded game activity does not mean a creator has never played that game. Searches use saved observations rather than searching YouTube afresh. A Markdown document counts as one document, not one result per line.

Usage limits

20 calls per session, up to 10 results per search, and 20,000 daily calls shared by all users. A limit produces a normal response containing status: usage_limit_reached. The daily allowance resets at midnight JST. Sessions do not necessarily map one-to-one to conversations. See plans and limits.

For developers

Use initialize → notifications/initialized → tools/list / tools/call. Send the initialization response’s Mcp-Session-Id and negotiated MCP-Protocol-Version in subsequent request headers. POST requests require Content-Type: application/json and Accept: application/json, text/event-stream.

/mcp and /mcp/ are equivalent. Clients must reinitialize expired sessions. Normal usage-limit responses differ from protocol errors for expired sessions or invalid input.

Troubleshooting

Refresh your connection if new tools do not appear. Use YYYY-MM-DD dates and HH:MM or HH:MM:SS times in JST. Zero results are valid. Check connection requirements, usage limits, and data freshness. If the issue persists, contact us.
